JSON-LD schema validator
Paste a page's HTML or a JSON-LD block and press Validate. The validator finds every application/ld+json block, reports JSON syntax errors with line numbers, and checks each node against Google's required and recommended properties, @id consistency and references that point at nothing.
Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste is sent anywhere. What the validator checks, and what it doesn't.
What the results mean
- Error: the markup is broken or misses something Google requires, so that item can't get the related Google feature.
- Warning: valid, but missing a recommended property or likely to be misread.
- Note: context worth knowing, such as a feature Google has retired.
It reads JSON-LD only, not Microdata or RDFa, and it checks the code you paste rather than fetching a URL, so markup added by JavaScript after the page loads won't be in "view source". For that, use Google's Rich Results Test, which renders the page. For every schema.org property and type, use the Schema Markup Validator.
Checking markup across hundreds of templates is a different job from checking one page; NRLC.ai has written up how to govern and validate schema across an enterprise site.
