Free JSON-LD schema generator
Fill in the form, copy the JSON-LD, and paste it into your page's HTML. Schema Technology writes schema.org markup for the seven types most websites need, follows Google's documented required and recommended properties, and runs entirely in your browser.
Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere. Empty fields are left out of the output.
How to use the output
- Paste the
<script type="application/ld+json">block into the HTML of the page it describes, in the<head>or<body>. Google reads JSON-LD in either place. - Use the same
@idfor the same business on every page. That is how separate blocks connect into one entity; see connecting entities with @id and sameAs. - Mark up only what visitors can see on the page. Google's general guidelines say structured data must match the visible content.
- Test it: paste the page into the validator, then check eligibility for Google features with Google's Rich Results Test.
Which types should I use?
| Page | Types |
|---|---|
| Home page | WebSite (site name) and Organization or LocalBusiness |
| Location or contact page | LocalBusiness, one per location |
| Blog post or guide | Article or BlogPosting, plus BreadcrumbList |
| Product page | Product with Offer |
| Any page with visible Q&A | FAQPage (no longer a Google rich result, but still valid) |

If you need a whole site's schema graph designed and kept consistent across templates, that is the kind of work Neural Command does as schema markup and structured data consulting.
